Presenter Biography:

Shannon Scott, Professor of Nursing at the University of Alberta and a member of the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists, is an international leader in knowledge translation research in child health. She holds the Canada Research Chair in Knowledge Translation for Child Health and is a co-Director of TREKK (Translating Emergency Knowledge for Kids), a Pan-Canadian initiative aimed at improving children’s emergency care, where she co-leads the development innovative, family-centred tools to help families make decisions about seeking healthcare for their children.
