Digitizing Clinical Documentation

An opportunity to discuss competency-based education including:

• RN informatics entry-to-practice competencies relative to the use of electronic health records;

• the movement towards the adoption of standardized terminology for representing nursing in electronic health records; and,

• potential strategies for preparing future nursing graduates specifically in the effective use of digitized clinical documentation systems to support the generation of practice-based evidence.

The webinars will be led by two of CASN’s Digital Health Peer Leaders: nurse educators who are champions of digital health.
